We set off from Kew Bridge on a very hot Sunday morning. From here we walked along the south bank of the River Thames, along the Thames Path until we reached Hammersmith Bridge. At the bridge we crossed over onto the north bank and the Thames Path again.
After lunch in a riverside pub we walked west into Chiswick but then left the Thames Path to strike across country to Chiswick House and Grounds where we had a stop for refreshments and the youngest walker got to play in the sand pit.
We walked from here crossing over the railway at Chiswick station and meeting the river again at Strand on the Green. The jining the Thames Path we arrived back at Kew Bridge.
A very sociable and successful day and money raised for the Martindale Fund.
Along the way I took some photos of places we passed and things we saw.
From a cow on a terrace to goslings on the river. What else can you spot.
